Advanced disaster recovery
Apart from the primary location, AWS cloud will be extended to another location. This helps with advanced approach for disaster recovery mechanisms.

IOT (Connection) Management Service
Core component of the device connectivity. AWS IOT provides MQTT style Pub/Sub mechanism for message communication, plus it offers additional security.

Metadata Storage Service
This provides storage for various miscellaneous data that cannot be categorized into user or device data directly. One example is the storage of ”My Status” transition related rules and metadata that’s executed on the app.
Alert Management Service
Once events are processed via rule engine, alerts are triggered. Depending on the user settings alerts are stored and delivered to users.
OTA Management Service
With Over-the-air firmware upgrades keep the devices up-to-date with additional features or even security patches and bug fixes.
Emailing Service
Be it alert emails, or regular emails such as welcome and password changes, the emailing service handles all those.
Push Notifications Service
Android and iOS push notifications, that deliver various events and alerts related communications to the users.
Monthly MIS Reporting Service
Summary emails providing high level overview such as active users/devices, new registered users/devices etc.
Event Analytics Service
Define service metrics and provide analytical trends. Each service metric can have granularity of aggregating data over and hour/day/week or a month.
Event Historical Data & Storage Service
Without this service: Once rule engine processes events and generates alerts, it will save only those alert information.

With this service: store the events raw data as well. This raw data is available via ELK for better visualization and in a persistent storage like MongoDB for much more advanced historical analytical purposes. Storage durations can be customized depending on the requirements.
Advanced Machine Learning Service
Based on custom requirements; techniques such as anomaly detection, pattern matching, and various other algorithms can be used to build advanced feature for the end users.
Video Surveillance Service
Video surveillance cameras; be it for home/baby/pet/elderly monitoring have much more than regular IOT devices.
External Integrations Service
Based on custom requirements; integrate with external platforms. This could include IFTTT or any other types of integrations.
